PT Mahaka Industri Perdana
PT Teladan Resources acquired PT Mahaka Industri Perdana (Mahaka) in 2002.
As the first TR’s acquisition, Mahaka has been in the forefront of developing Indonesia’s limestone industry, and one of its major accomplishment has been the operation and maintenance of Freeport Indonesia’s Calcium Oxide Plant.
The plant, which is located 3,850 meters above sea level in the Grasberg area, produces 400 metric ton of Calcium Oxide per day.
The plant is the only facility in Indonesia which uses the rotary kiln to produce Liquid Calcium Oxide (CaOH2) through burning and hydration process.
The entire production is currently consumed by PT Freeport Indonesia, for the milling floatation process and for the environment protection.
